We have the only Combined Enroute Radar Approach Control facility in the Caribbean, and are the only FIR that operates in full compliance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. At the same time, the most popular aviation destination in the world, St. Maarten, is under our jurisdiction, and only a short 30-minute hop away from our main airport.
